Kathryn: Bridals {Winston-Salem, NC}

It’s safe to say that this year has probably been the most eventful/exciting/stressful for bride Kathryn. Not only did she plan a gorgeous wedding, but she also finished school, took and passed the bar exam, got a great new job as a lawyer, and moved into a new place with her hubby Jeff Miles (who...

Lisa Harrell - Jennifer,
You are not only an extremely talented photographer, but an amazing woman as well. Yes, it has been an “eventful/exciting/stressful” year for Kathryn, but you’d never know it from these photographs. That’s because you have such a calming, reassuring manner that puts the bride (and her mother) at ease, even on a cold, windy afternoon. You went out of your way to accommodate us. Who knew that the beautiful portrait on display at the reception was taken only days before? I am astonished that you were able to turn it around in such a short time AND meet the newspaper deadlines for the wedding announcement on her wedding weekend. Wow! We are beyond excited that we chose you for our photographer.
Many, many thanks Jennifer! Lisa Harrell (Mother of the bride)October 26, 2011 – 6:53 PM

CANS FOR COMMENTS

I started blogging at the beginning of this year, and to be honest, I wasn’t sure how it was going to be received. Favorite Thing: Pinterest

My attitude towards Pinterest was much like my view on Facebook circa 2005. Let me explain. By 2005, Facebook had been developing for awhile, but it was just starting to trickle into Clemson University’s campus. With my independent artsy attitude, I said “I’m not joining that, it’s just a fad”. My protest lasted about 6 months,...

Kerstin: Bridals {Augusta Manor, Greenville, SC}

As Kerstin and I were discussing her bridal session, she sent me a photo of her dress and requested a vintage look for her session. I searched around the upstate for a venue/location to match what she was looking for and we decided Augusta Manor was the perfect fit. Gorgeous girl, beautiful dress, amazing architecture, and...

Lisa + Lyle: Engagement {Grand Tetons, Wyoming}

The day after Lisa and Lyle’s wedding, we met back up for another quick session in their casual clothes. The great thing about Wyoming is you can stop ANYwhere and find a stunning backdrop for photos. We used the beautiful field at the Lodge where the wedding was, and then drove up the road a...
